11:23 pm - What’s German for “Rar”?

Much thanks to [info]zebrataur and [info]grevydude for bringing this to my attention.

Article and video from the Maker Faire, including the Electric Giraffe™ they’ve both worked so hard on, and a bit (about two minutes in) from the wedding I’d mentioned (which sadly involves dragons getting poked with sticks, but was something he had to do to “win” his bride). I don’t understand a word of it aside from my friends’ names and the word “drachen.” Is anyone able to translate just that part from the video?

Well, even if it did involve dragon slaying, I think it's wonderful of you to help to make their wedding day very special and something that they'll never forget. *hugs* to you!

BOO! HISS! Unfair fight! The groom is clearly compensating for something...

And from the other video on that page, I see that Germany now has the Buran. Should we be worried?

I'm bummed about the Buran. Was really hoping it would show up at the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store, like everything else does.

My German is fairly weak, so won't even try. But thanks at least for linking the vid. Caught myself at the mentos thing, hehe.
